In this demo, the client will be encouraged to explore their subconscious metaphors to resolve feelings of nervousness in social settings. Metaphors are the subconscious organisation of our thoughts, feelings, and even our behaviours. Because they are subconscious, we are very rarely aware of the influence they have over our lives! In this demonstration, I work with Alison who experiences anxiety in social situations. We explore her metaphors and see if we can gracefully bring them together to ease her feelings of social anxiety.
